Evaluates if a model
has adequate space between a part and its mold.
If you
are creating shapes or parts that need to be molded, the draft analysis tool
evaluates if their is adequate draft between a part and its mold
(based on the pull direction).
NoteAnalysis tools only
work in the 3D visual styles; they will not work in 2D.
Procedure
To analyze the draft of
a model
Click Surface
tabAnalysis
panelDraft.At the Command prompt, enter analysisdraft.
Select a model and
press Enter.
The draft analysis colors
display.
To turn off the draft color
display
Click Surface
tabAnalysis
panelAnalysis
Options.At the Command prompt,
enter analysisoptions.
Click the Clear
Draft Analysis button.
The draft analysis colors
disappears.
To change the draft analysis
options
Click Surface
tabAnalysis
panelAnalysis
Options.At the Command prompt,
enter analysisoptions.
In the Draft Angle
tab of the Analysis Options dialog box, select the desired options
and click OK.
